Not everything in life is meant to remain sweet.
 
The vinegar jar is a traditional piece of folk magic used when a situation has turned hostile, toxic, or obstructive. Vinegar sours what once held together, while iron, broken glass, and red pepper agitate the energy surrounding the conflict.
 
As the jar works, the connection begins to turn on itself. Tensions rise, alliances weaken, and the bond holding the situation together slowly breaks apart.
 
This working is often chosen to sour toxic relationships, disrupt harmful interference, and return conflict to its source.
 
Once prepared and sealed, the jar is buried beneath the Working Tree on my land, where the work continues quietly beneath the earth.
